'Germbugs' is the pioneering project aiming to raise awareness about antibiotic resistance, and the key culprits. Using memorable characters and visuals, the goal is to best educate students on how we treat these common infections.

The vision of the brief is to bring microbiology to life, in an accessible way.

My role in this project was to research the bacteria, mechanisms of the body and its defences, and to reimagine these complex biological processes into characters and microscopic worlds. Working closely with educators and microbiologists at Leeds University, we have created the beginnings of a developing resource that could help shift the understanding of antibiotics and their appropriate use.
